The Role of an Ambassador
An ambassador is a diplomatic agent of the highest rank accredited to a foreign government or sovereign as the resident representative of his or her own government or sovereign or appointed for a special and often temporary (Occupy until I come – Luke 19:13) diplomatic assignment.
So, when you live in your calling to be an ambassador for Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, like an ambassador in the natural earthly realm, you are provided for in every way. You are given the resources to live as though you were in your home country. The Kingdom you represent gives you diplomatic provision, spiritual and supernatural powers to represent, not by might nor by power of natural things, but by His Spirit said the Lord (1 Cor. 2:4 - My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power… — 1 Corinthians 2:4)
